League
The league is the competition every club plays: ten clubs, each meeting every other club twice, once at home and once away. That is the whole season, and the table updates as the results come in.
Divisions
Clubs are spread across five divisions. The 1st Division is the top and the 5th is the entry division every new club starts in. A league is named for its division and its own name, like "3rd Division - Lighthouse", and it keeps that name through the seasons.
At the end of a season the champion of each league goes up a division and the bottom three clubs go down. There is no promotion from the 1st Division and no relegation from the entry division. Bot clubs move up and down with the rest, so every division stays full.
Division affects club income: ticket receipts, sponsor payments, Arena and Fan Shop income, and league prizes use the same multiplier: 1.0× in the 5th Division, 1.3× in the 4th, 1.6× in the 3rd, 2.0× in the 2nd and 2.5× in the 1st. Facility build costs and upkeep rise by that multiplier too; player wages and role-training fees do not.
Points and standings
A win is worth 2 points, a draw 1 and a loss none. Clubs are ranked on points first. When clubs are level on points, goal difference decides; if that is level too, their own matches against each other, then goals scored, then goals conceded, and finally by club so the order stays stable. The Form column shows each club's last five results, most recent first.
Prize money
The top three clubs of each league at the end of a season are paid a prize: 15,000 EUR to the champion, 8,000 EUR to the runner-up and 4,000 EUR to third in the entry division, and more the higher the division (see the multipliers above). Prizes are paid to manager-run clubs, not bots. The money arrives when the season's final round is played and appears in your finances as a league prize.
