Infrastructure

Infrastructure is how you invest club money into things other than players, from the Infrastructure tab of the Club page.

The four facilities

  • Arena adds money to your gate at every home fixture, and the amount grows with each level.
  • Training Facilities raise how much your squad improves each training week, and unlock the role-training slots.
  • Youth Academy improves U18 prospect quality and scouting, and from level 5 adds a small foreign-prospect chance.
  • Fan Shop pays income every week, scaled by your league position: the higher you sit, the more it brings in.

Making money back

The Arena and Fan Shop are the two facilities that pay money. Their income grows with every level, but the upgrade cost grows faster, so the first levels pay for themselves in a few months and the top levels take years. Each card shows how many weeks the next upgrade takes to pay back.

Upgrading and demolishing

Each card has an Upgrade button that raises the facility one level, showing the cost and the upkeep increase before you confirm, and from level 2 a Downgrade button that takes it down one level. Cost is charged immediately and rises steeply at higher levels. Demolishing also costs money and is never refunded. The only reason to demolish is cutting an upkeep bill you can no longer afford. Build or demolish any time, in or out of season. Facilities cost more the higher the division you play in: build prices and weekly upkeep carry the same multiplier as your club's income, so a facility always costs the same share of what you earn.

On the weekly report

Upkeep above level 1 is paid on the same two-round cycle as wages, shown as Maintenance. Fan Shop income appears as Fan shop, Arena's extra ticket money is folded into Tickets, and any upgrade/demolish spend shows as an Infrastructure recap line (already paid, not counted again in that week's net).
